The Jokes for "Jacob" comedy show brings together some of the funniest comedians in the business to raise money for local comedian Janet Fortune's son, Caleb, aka Jacob. All proceeds from tickets sales will be donated directly to Caleb's.

From Caleb:

Imagine being 22, just eight days into your new career—life was golden. Then, in a blink, everything flipped upside down. I had a Grand Mal Seizure at my desk and woke up in the hospital to learn that a CT scan revealed a mass on my brain. Talk about a plot twist! Suddenly, my dreams hit a brick wall. With my new job's health insurance yet to kick in, I'm now staring down a mountain of medical debt and the daunting prospect of brain surgery.

The bills are piling up faster than my neurosurgeon's appointment list, and the recovery period will be long. At 22, brain surgery isn't exactly something you plan for financially. But here I am, living that unexpected reality. Your support can turn this cliffhanger into a comeback story. Thanks for being part of my journey. Sincerely,

Caleb
